Andrew Gallop
Andrew lives in the Chew Valley, Somerset and enjoys walking – particularly over the Mendip Hills, Dartmoor and along the Cornish Coastal Path. This type of terrain, through all seasons, provides the subject matter for his paintings.

He tries to capture the feeling of being part of these open landscapes and so describing the space, the weather and the light is as important to him as the topography. He paints in oils onto canvas, linen and board, often combining brush work with a palette knife to add perspective with contrasting surface textures.

His original oil paintings and limited edition prints have been exhibited in various galleries in Bristol, Bath and Wells.
